Conference Program

The Conference will be held June 8-11, 2009 at The Statler Hotel and J. Willard Marriott Executive Education Center

The conference will include talks on a diverse range of Computational Sustainability topics as well as sessions more focused on the following topics:

  • Problems in Quantifying and Managing Uncertainty (Chair: Cooch)
  • Interactive Decision Support Tools (Chair: Allen)
  • Assessing multiple sources of human-behavioral uncertainty in social-ecological systems (Chair: Decker)
  • Species Distribution (Chair: Kelling)
  • Sustainable Communities & Sustainable Agriculture (Chair: Allen)
  • Problems in Spatial Modeling and Resource Allocation (Chairs: McDonald-Madden & Shmoys)
  • Dynamic Optimization of Renewable Resources (Chair: Conrad)

Conference materials will be distributed at 8am and speakers will begin presenting at 9am. Presentations and discussions will take place in Statler Hall classrooms 196, 291 and 391. Poster sessions will be held immediately following the presentation at the Statler Hall Park Atrium. The final schedule will be available at the conference.
